A new Netflix docuseries, American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden, delves into the 12-year hunt for the world’s most wanted terrorist, featuring firsthand accounts from the people who tracked him down. The three-part series premieres on March 10.
Directed by Mor Loushy and Daniel Sivan, the documentary includes interviews with US government officials who played key roles in the operation.
The newly released trailer opens with a chilling recollection from a former official, recalling CIA counterterrorism chief Cofer Black’s words to then-President George W Bush after 9/11: "If you let me do it, I’ll have flies walking on their eyeballs in six weeks."
However, the search for bin Laden took over a decade, as he repeatedly evaded capture before being located in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The trailer’s final moments build up to the raid that led to his death.
