American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden

Documentary Series (2025)
This three part docuseries from directors Mor Loushy and Daniel Sivan gives an in-depth look at how the world mobilized to hunt down Osama Bin Laden after his orchestrations of the September 11th, 2001 attacks on the United States. Featuring interviews with key people within the US government who helped in the global chase, this series focuses on the decade-long mission to capture one of the world’s most notorious terrorists.
A new Netflix docuseries, American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden, delves into the 12-year hunt for the world’s most wanted terrorist, featuring firsthand accounts from the people who tracked him down.

Directed by Mor Loushy and Daniel Sivan, the documentary includes interviews with US government officials who played key roles in the operation.

The newly released trailer opens with a chilling recollection from a former official, recalling CIA counterterrorism chief Cofer Black’s words to then-President George W Bush after 9/11: "If you let me do it, I’ll have flies walking on their eyeballs in six weeks."

However, the search for bin Laden took over a decade, as he repeatedly evaded capture before being located in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The trailer’s final moments build up to the raid that led to his death.
